RentUp rental terms
RentUp publishes almost every fee as a number, which makes a total easy to estimate. It takes no prepayment and allows Tusheti in its 4x4 category with written agreement. It holds a 300–1,200 GEL deposit by class, charges 40 GEL for night handovers and 20 GEL a day per extra driver, and its pages give different airport fees.

Where RentUp’s own pages disagree
Ask RentUp to confirm these points in writing before you pay.
- Tbilisi Airport fee: the Tbilisi airport page says 'a flat 40 ₾ delivery fee' (no length condition), while the home page, the One way page and the FAQ page say 40 GEL applies only to 1-2 day rentals and delivery is free from day 3. Kutaisi (60) and Batumi (50) airport pages and Car rental also state flat fees whereas home/one-way/FAQ say free from day 5.
- Minimum age and licence: the Car rental page says drivers must be 21+ with a licence held 2 years (and only an under-27 surcharge for higher categories), but the Terms page and the requirements guide require 23 (crossover/SUV, minivan) or 25 (business, 4x4, commercial van) with 3-5 years' licence.
- Deposit range: the home page says 'Deposit 300-1500 ₾' while every other page (including the price table on the same home page) tops out at 1,200 GEL for off-road 4x4.
- Deposit method: the Terms page lists 'Card for the deposit' as a requirement, the Car rental page and the requirements guide say cash is also accepted (and returned on the spot). Home page says deposit is 'blocked, not charged' on a card.
- SCDW effect: the Terms page, FAQ, Car rental and One way say SCDW reduces the excess to zero; the Car rental Georgia requirements documents page says 'on the off-road 4x4 an excess of 300 ₾ remains even with SCDW'.
- Excess summary box: the Car rental page and One way show 'TPL + CDW included · excess 300 ₾' as the headline figure, but the same pages state the excess is 300-1,200 GEL by category.
- Prepayment: the Toyota land cruiser prado page says a booking request is confirmed 'after availability is checked and the required payment is completed', while the Terms page and Car rental say no prepayment is required and payment is at pickup.
- Address delivery outside Tbilisi: the Car rental page says 40 GEL for Kutaisi/Batumi addresses; the One way page says 40 GEL up to 4 days and free from day 5; the home page says 'Delivery 30-80 ₾ depending on the city'; the Monthly page says Telavi, Gori or Zugdidi cost 50 GEL.
- Night surcharge window: the Tbilisi page says arriving 'outside office hours' (office is open 09:00-21:00) costs the 40 GEL night surcharge; all other pages define it as 22:00-07:00.
- Daily-rate basis: the FAQ page says 'For rentals of 1–2 days the rate is slightly higher' than the 75 GEL headline, while the home page and Fleet present 75 GEL as the 1-6 day rate.
- Seat counts: the Car rental page lists Mitsubishi Outlander as '7 Seats' and Fleet lists '5-7 seats ... Third row (on request)'; car pages show 7 seats for Outlander, Prado and Pajero while Fleet shows 5-7.
- 4x4 transmission: the Fleet page category table shows off-road 4x4 as 'Automatic / manual', but the Prado, Pajero and Delica car pages each show Automatic.
- Seasonal surcharge: the Fleet page mentions only +15% in July-August; the FAQ page and Monthly also list +10% for Easter and New Year weeks.
